Meet the Team
Selina and Henry are a mother-and-son team combining decades of experience in garden design and landscape architecture. Selina founded Designs for all Seasons in 2007, bringing years of experience in designing bespoke outdoor spaces and building strong client relationships.
In 2016, Henry joined the company as a consultant and in 2023, joined full time bringing a background in landscape architecture, public realm projects, and hands-on craftsmanship.
Together, they combine over 20 years design expertise and practical experience to create gardens that last and thrive.

Founder & Lead Garden Designer
Selina founded the company in 2007 and has since led the design and development of gardens ranging from small urban spaces to expansive country landscapes. With a keen eye for detail and a natural ability to connect with clients, she ensures every garden is carefully tailored to suit individual lifestyles and needs.
After an early career in project management and systems development, Selina retrained as a garden designer, driven by a lifelong love of nature and creativity. She quickly gained recognition, winning awards at Hampton Court Palace Garden Festival in 2008 and 2014, solidifying her reputation for innovative yet timeless garden design. Over the years, she has built an extensive portfolio, transforming outdoor spaces into meaningful, functional, and beautiful extensions of the home.
Selina believes a garden is more than just an outdoor space—it’s a vital part of a home, offering beauty, tranquillity, and a deeper connection to nature. She values a collaborative approach, taking time to understand each client’s vision and how they engage with their garden. Sustainability, seasonal planting, and the relationship between home and garden are central to her designs. Above all, she finds immense satisfaction in seeing how a thoughtfully designed garden can improve people’s quality of life. -
Landscape Designer & Maker
Henry joined the business in 2023, bringing his expertise in landscape architecture and garden design. He focuses on creating spaces that blend natural beauty with a strong sense of place, ensuring that every garden feels immersive, personal, and deeply connected to its surroundings.
With a degree in Landscape Architecture, Henry has worked across the industry, from high-end public realm projects in the private sector to community-driven designs for council housing. His experience spans from conceptual design to technical detailing, always with a focus on balancing aesthetics, function, and ecological responsibility. In addition to his design work, Henry has a strong practical background, having worked in landscaping, furniture making, and boat building—giving him a hands-on understanding of materials, craftsmanship, and the built environment.
Henry is passionate about the power of nature to enhance wellbeing. His designs emphasise privacy, tranquillity, and interaction—whether through sensory planting, secluded seating areas, or opportunities for clients to engage with their gardens, such as through wildlife-friendly planting or edible gardens. Sustainability is at the heart of his approach, using native planting, local materials, and careful spatial design to create gardens that feel harmonious and enduring. His ultimate goal is to design outdoor spaces that become a seamless and treasured extension of the home.
